Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

How System Think Van LLC handles consumer health data in HGRS, and how to use your rights under Washington's My Health My Data Act.

What we collect, and where it comes from

For each day of a challenge you join, and only after you agree on its consent screen: your daily step total, the time you reached the daily goal, how many steps each app or device recorded, and whether a day was flagged for review. It comes from Apple Health on your iPhone, which holds what your iPhone, your watch or ring and the apps you allow recorded. We collect nothing for a challenge you have not joined, and nothing when you only use HGRS to see your own steps.

Why

To keep score in the challenges you join: your group's board, your entries, and the drawing at the end. Nothing else: never advertising, never profiling, and never sold.

Who it is shared with

Your consent on each challenge's consent screen is what lets us collect and share it there. We do not sell consumer health data.

Your rights

Write to support@systemthinkvan.com from the email address you sign in with, so we know the request is yours. We answer every request within 45 days, and there is no charge.

If we say no

You can appeal: reply to our answer with "Appeal" in the subject. We answer an appeal within 45 days, in writing, with our reasons. If we deny it, you can complain to the Washington State Attorney General at https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
